Our yard is in Penzance, at the western end of the county, and we work outwards from it. Scaffolding in Penzance is home ground and covered on our main page.

The core patch runs right across West Cornwall, from St Just and Newlyn through Hayle, Camborne, Redruth, Helston and St Ives. From there we work up the north coast and across mid Cornwall as far as Truro, Falmouth, Newquay and St Austell.

How We Work

Across West Cornwall you get a firm start date at quote stage, and if a gang finishes early we will tell you. Two gangs out is what makes that possible.

Mid Cornwall is the same week with a little more notice. Newquay and St Austell are a genuine run from Penzance, so those book further ahead.

You get the honest date at quote stage, for putting it up and taking it down.

Do you cover the villages between these towns?+

Yes. The town pages are the anchors, not the boundary. A good deal of our work sits in the lanes and hamlets between them, where the way in decides the job more than the address does. Tell us where you are and we will say honestly whether we can help, and if it is too far to serve you properly we will say that instead.

How quickly can you get to me?+

In West Cornwall, a firm date confirmed when we quote. Mid Cornwall the same with more notice. Newquay and St Austell need planning further ahead, because an hour each way for a loaded wagon is a genuine trip rather than a local call. You get the honest answer at quote stage, for putting the scaffold up and for taking it away again.

Do you cover Penzance itself?+

Penzance is where the yard is, so it is home ground rather than a run we plan around. Both gangs work out of it, which is why the town and the parishes either side of it get the shortest notice we can offer anywhere. Is there a travel charge to the far end of the county?+

No separate mileage line lands on your invoice afterwards. Travel sits inside the price we quote, in writing before any work starts, and no extra work begins until its price is confirmed in writing. That is the whole point of pricing the job rather than the miles: the number you accept is the number you pay.

Do you work for main contractors across Cornwall?+

Yes. We take on commercial scaffolding and subcontract access countywide, with £10m public liability, which is twice the £5m most contracts specify. The work is TG20 and SG4 compliant, Jordan holds Advanced Supervisor, and tags and handover documentation come on request at no charge.
